Fall Season Is Here!
TMB Athletes Are Ready to Rock!
The Football Season is right around the corner and TMB Athletes are putting the finishing touch on summer training. You gotta love some of these guys. Here are some interesting facts:
- Brian Long of South Dakota competed in the junior power lifting competition in New Jersey. As a to be junior Brian is 6'1" and 215 lbs of solid rock. He will be a Division I prospect if he gets good coaching this year and can keep his current developmental pace. He is a linebacker and tough as nails.
- Earl Smith of Travis HS in Texas wowed them at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He is sure to garner an offer during the season. Earl slimmed down, got stronger and faster working with Coach Farmer in the weight room and with Jay Barnett of TMB Beastmode Texas.
- Alex Brown slimmed down from 280 lbs to 259 lbs.; got his feet to move; got stronger; and got moved to center full time. He looks to be a promising center prospect out of Travis in TX as well.
- Travis TE Tanner Nehls has worked his developmental track like none other as he continues to grow as he approaches 220 lbs.; gets bigger, faster and stronger. Tanner has his sights on Division IAA and he most likely can attain his goal.
- Madisson Milner is a beast. His development this summer is fat to muscle, quickness and a punch that will rock Southwest Houston as a member of Travis as well.
- Evergreen's Trevor Olson turned heads at Colorado State, Florida, San Diego State, the Ultimate 100 combine in Los Angeles and pulled his weight up to 213 lbs.
- Alex Fricke of Evergreen is rotating 6 positions in camp and is showing himself to be an awesome utility player. Alex could pass the 180 lb mark as his strength continues to grow and his speed complements his abilities.
- Trent Butler tore his miniscus and gained about 10 lbs of fat. As soon as he was ready to go he converted all the fat to muscle and conditioned twice a day. He is ready to conquer at the rb and slot receiver position. Unbelievable recovery.
- Jeff Yearsley is going to report for his inaugaral season at RPI, a great NCAA football program out of Troy, NY. Jeff is pushing 220 up from 188 last November as he set the Evergreen High School bench press at 365 lbs. Jeff is an awesome TMB story.
- Jake Sewolt has gone from 188 lbs to 208 lbs. as he gets ready for Bridgton Academy in Maine. Jake's goal, play Division I or IAA coming out of one of the top prep schools in the U.S. He will play slot receiver or strong safety or both.
- Joe Hemschoot will start at QB at Lakewood HS in Lakewood, CO. His first time playing QB ever in HS. He is one of Colorado's best LB candidates as well. Joe has gone beastmode in his training this summer and has attended camps at QBR in California, Colorado State, and Colorado. Joe is a top student at Lakewood and could easily make his way to the Colonial and Patriot Leagues in the NCAA. Joe worked in with TMB in his development of mechanics as a QB.
There are a hundred tales to tell for all the TMB athletes, especially the younger athletes. We wish them all well as they trudge the road to collegiate aspirations.

Now is the time to make those impressions on college coaches.
For prospects flying a bit under the radar heading into their senior seasons, June and July are months for getting out and working out at camps and combines.
Whether seeking a scholarship offer or some tips on how to improve technique, high schoolers of every age and skill level are traveling around the country this summer to different campuses.
Athletes from California, Colorado and even Canada visited Gainesville the past couple weeks working out for Florida’s coaches and a few volunteer coaches at Urban Meyer’s Football Camp.
With a price tag of $300 for day campers and $345 for overnighters, getting noticed is usually the ultimate goal.
“You either impress or you get eliminated,” Evergreen, Co., quarterback Trevor Olson said of the importance of impressing at camps. “You’ve got to get ahead and it’s definitely important to make an impression at camp.”
Olson, who threw for 1,416 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior, traveled more than 1,700 miles to camp at UF for a couple days. The great reputation of Florida’s camps drew Olson in. He said his trip was “definitely worth it” and that he received the best coaching he’s had at a camp.

TMB Athletes and recruits are hard at work this summer. Here are some notable items since late May for TMB athletes:
16 Athletes are training with TMB Beastmode Training in Texas including recruits Tanner Nehls, Earl Smith, Alex Brown and Madisson Milner. Major kudos to Travis High School Football Coach Matt Farmer and Beastmode Leader and Trainer Jay Barnett.
Tanner Nehls hit the Colorado State University rising seniors camp in early June - Lightning cut the camp short and Tanner has been invited back to the camp July 25th. He also tested well at the Texas State camp in mid-June.
Trevor Olson, QB at Evergreen High School, attended camps at QBR in Thousand Oaks, Florida University rising seniors (still a scholarship hopeful finishing in the top 3 QB's in the camp), Colorado State University, National Underclassman Combine (NUC) where he was MVP, San Diego State University and still has Rivals Top 100 camp in Los Angeles and Friday Night Lights as an invite by Coach Scott Loeffler at the University of Florida.
Madisson Milner shocked 'em at the University of Houston and won the tire pull competition in the Big Man competition in early June. Madisson is looking at other camps as he returns from vacation.
Earl Smith has clocked a 4.6 forty at the Texas State camp and several combines. His speed has quickened and he will compete again before the end of summer as he has been a "beast" in the Beastmode training and converted 11 pounds to muscle mass that was otherwise holding him back. Look for Earl as he continues to rank daily as the best of breed in his pursuit of excellence with Coach Jay Barnett.
Alex Fricke, Greg Yearsley, Jake Sewolt, and CJ Funches attended the QBR Camp in June that has placed 19 athletes in the NFL. Alex was looked at hard by the coaches from Cal Lutheran University and Jake Sewolt looks like he will come out of Bridgton Academy next year as one of its top prospects for NCAA Division IAA.
Alex Brown is on a tour of camps most notably the University of Michigan where he was selected in the camps top 15 lineman from hundreds of athletes. Alex is visiting some other smaller univerisities in Texas as well.
